Life became amazing...after you.

There's this book my mom bought for Lily called Along Came You.

I always want to add in my own lines before the end.

The book starts out like this:
"Before you, my home was decorated in style. After you, my home is decorated in love. Before you my world was quiet. After you, there is joyful noise."

So here's my version:

Before you, I liked getting dressed up.
After you, I like to dress you up.

Before you, I liked to put make up on.
After you, I let you play with my make up.

Before you, I painted.
After you, I paint with you.

Before you, I read lots of magazines.
After you, I read you lots of books over and over and over.

Before you, I photographed tons of different children.
After you, I takes tons of photographs of you.

Before you, I was me. After you, I am still me. But you are with me. Life became amazing...

after you.

Daddy & Lillian

I get VERY VERY few pictures of my husband and even less with him and Lillian. So even though it's a snapshot from my iphone...this has to be one of my favorites. :)

I love her expression AND those glasses...I die.

I see a little "on daddy's shoulder" photo session happening in the future. :) Maybe for Father's Day???

Parks with boardwalks and making memories

A couple of days ago, LilyBee and I went to a newly discovered park. It was really pretty, but incredibly hot outside so we didn't stay for very long. I definitely want to go back and explore some more.

I loved the boardwalks. It made for an easy stroll.

She loves leaves.

Gosh, I love her little lippies. So sweet. :)

My mom had mentioned a while back that I should do a memory box. I'm not really into scrapbooking. It's expensive and I just can't commit to something like that. It seems so time consuming. I decided to go with this memory box idea.

I found a box at Hobby Lobby. I wasn't sure what size to get, because I love square pictures and rectangular pictures. So I got a larger box to accommodate several different sizes and shapes.  I haven't decided how I'm going to paint it or if I even will paint it. I kind of like the gray color.

I bought some washi tape and decided to write on that so I don't ruin the pictures. It seems to peel off very easily. I just ordered a bunch of pictures from mpix.com because they were having a huge sale on prints. I've never ordered from them, but I recommend them to clients since they have a pro and consumer lab with reasonably priced prints. :)
